(Wow, this is a few weeks overdue, isn't it?)
Yo. :]
This is Team VI, otherwise known as Team Melancholy (don't be fooled by our name, though; we're actually just a happy little group of children who like to play around with things), which consists of Jackie, Marietta, Emily, Madiha (that's me! :]), and occasionally Daisy, whom we have not seen for the past three weeks.
There was no meeting today because of the PSATs, so we have to wait until next week to continue working on our robot. :[ Anyway, Robotics is, by far, the most amazing club at ASJ (maybe only second to Latin club), and not just because we get to stay after school and mess around with our robot, whom we have affectionately named Horton, Jr. (Horton, Jr. will take over the world one day...)
So, I'm fairly certain that we're behind most other teams in programming little Horton (mostly due to a lack of free time with one another on our schedules, and the fact that the laptop with the software on it freezes up every time we start to actually get somewhere), but we're catching up (I think...). So far, he can only revolve in a 720° circle and move forward, but we'll be changing that soon. :] (The other robots should watch out... little Horton, Jr. may just end up EATING them soon... muahaha...) Who knows, he may just soon end up attacking that little Leggo man (whom we have unofficially named 'Gangster').
Robotics is fairly easy (I had anticipated that it would be a lot harder) but it's still pretty challenging. The hardest part would probably be distinguishing all the little parts from one another back when we were still assembling Horton, Jr., but right now, programming him is pretty easy (until we mess up or skip over some part in the videos or make some other hideous mistake that we probably won't realize until its gotten to the point where we have to start over...) But we're all really enthusiastic about Horton, Jr., and it's really fun programming him to do things step by step...
Anyway, I don't have much more to say at the moment, so... yeah, that's it. :]
Peace out, :]

It's good to hear from you, Team 6. I've been looking forward to reading about your progress. I'm sure Horton, Jr. will catch up with his peers soon enough, but I hope he has better manners than to go around eating the competition! :o)
